The recent snowfall has allowed us to begin preparations for the upcoming ski season.  We have been clearing downed trees, properly opening gates, some fencing work and some general trail maintenance.  Incidental to this, we have rolled some of the ski trails.  To be clear, this is not the beginning of any regular grooming, it is just, hopefully, the start of this season’s base.  What base that does exist is thin, uneven and lumpy.  I will communicate when conditions change and/or daily grooming begins.
