12/27 Wednesday

1” to 2” of new snow since yesterday.  All ski trails rolled multiple times.  We are beginning to establish our base for this season.  Conditions remain marginal with a very thin base in most places.  Future grooming will be dependent on new snowfall.  Be careful and have fun.   Good skiing, Randy

12/26 Tuesday

I tried to measure how much new snow we received, and I ended up at 2” to 5”.  It was a little challenging as we had a little breeze today.  Great job on the snow dance!  I feel some of you got the snow dance confused with the wind dance.  All ski trails rolled today, most multiple times.  Because of the breeze, some areas had good coverage and others were without snow at all.    Good skiing, Randy

12/25 Monday

A trace of snow since yesterday.  Took a pass with the roller on all ski trails except the Summit complex.  With the existing snow, all we can do is try to establish a base for the season.  We just need more snow so, do the snow dance with holiday spirit!   Happy Holidays, Randy

12/24 Saturday

Apparently, someone got the snow dance right.  3” to 4” of new snow overnite.  It appears that winter may have arrived.  It was 8 degrees when I started this morning and, several hours later when I finished, it was still 8 degrees.  All ski trails rolled multiple times.  Coverage looks good, but conditions are marginal.  Yesterday there were multiple areas of bare ground and now just have last night’s snow covering them.  Be careful and have fun.   Good skiing, Randy

12/05/23 Tuesday

There is roughly 2” to 3” of snow on the ground.  No grooming or snow base preparation has taken place as of yet.  Once we have adequate snow, we will begin working, and post conditions here.   Thanks, Randy
