Happy New Year!! Just a skiff of new snow fell as I was grooming this morning but enough to freshen up the trails. All trails were rolled out today. The skiing looks great but beware of the thin spots lurking out there! -Dan 

TGIF! Not much change from yesterday. All trails were touched up today but the base remains firm and thin.  Happy New Year! -Dan

A light dusting of new snow overnite.  All ski trails received attention this morning but, unlikely you can tell due to the breeze.  Coverage remains fair to good.  Base is firm.   Good skiing, Randy

All ski trails smoothed this morning.  The base is thin but, firm.  The recent breeze has brought some pine needles to the trails.  Coverage remains fair to good.    We obviously need more snow so… Do the snow dance with Holiday enthusiasm.   Good skiing, Randy

The sunrise this morning over the range was exceptional this Christmas morn’.  All ski trails smoothed earlier.  The base is fair to good, just beware of the thin/bare spots.   Merry Christmas and good skiing, Randy

About 2” of new snow fell with this latest storm.  All ski trails rolled today.  Some of the hard pack and bare areas were covered.  The base is fair to good.   As we can use more snow, do the snow dance with Holiday passion!   Good skiing, Randy

All ski trails smoothed out today.  Not actual grooming yet but, we were able to knock down some of the roller pattern and even out the trails.  We did have some more snow drifting last nite.   Good skiing, Randy

Yesterday, all of Van’s and Summit were rolled.  Today, Miners and “B” Loop were rolled for the first time since the storm.  All ski trails rolled today.  Conditions are soft to firm depending on how exposed to the breeze they are.  There is still some minor drifting occurring.  Coverage is good in most areas.    Randy

We received some new snow in the last 24 hours.  Difficult to tell how much due to the stiff breeze moving it all over the place.  There are areas with deep drifts and others that have wind scoured down to the base.  Campground, Meadow, Upper and Lower UW, Phil’s thru Moose, Rollercoaster, Ridge, Blackjack, Alder, Chyt’s, Sprint and Lower Meadow were all rolled multiple times today.  Conditions vary from hard pan to very soft.  We will try to roll the rest of the trail system in the next day or two.   Great job on the snow dance but, some technique refinement is in order.  Some of you apparently did the wind dance instead, and were VERY successful!   Good skiing, Randy

Less than an inch of new snow this morning.  We had a strong breeze today which moved some snow around, and brought some branches and needles onto the ski trails.  Since Tuesday, we have rolled all ski trails, except B Loop and Haunted Forest.  We have cleared fallen trees from all trails that were rolled but, we did not recheck all trails today.  So, be cautious as the wind was very strong today and there could be new fallen trees.   The ski trails are mostly covered with the base being various depth.  No actual grooming has taken place as we need more snow.  Good Job on the snow dance but, keep it up!   FYI:  Laramie High School has a race scheduled for December 9, 10(Friday, Saturday).   Randy
