04/19 Tuesday

We smoothed out Meadow, Upper UW, and Phil"s thru Van's this morning.  The warm weather didn't do the trails any favors.  No more work will be done on Upper UW. We will go out again tomorrow and do what we can, with whatever is left.  This will be the last day of any further grooming, smoothing or packing of the ski trails this season. It was good to see old friends, and meet new.  Thanks for great season and everything else. Randy

04/18 Monday

We smoothed out Campground thru Van's, including Upper UW this morning.  Coverage was good but, very thin.  My crystal ball, which has been somewhat cloudy this year, says we will lose a lot of base in the next 2 days.  I believe we will stop any trail work for the season before the coming weekend. We will go up again tomorrow and try to smooth out the ski trails. Good skiing, Randy

04/17 Sunday

3" of new snow overnite.  Part of Campground, Meadow, Upper UW, and Phil's thru Van's were rolled and smoothed out.  The ski trails looked great but, will be rapidly changing as the day warms up. Good skiing, Randy

04/16 Saturday

A light dusting of new snow last nite.  Part of Campground, Meadow, Upper UW, and Phil's thru Van's were smoothed out this morning.  We didn't lose as much base as anticipated from yesterday.  Constantly changing spring conditions exist. We will go out and smooth the ski trails again tomorrow. Good skiing, Randy

04/15 Friday

We lost a little base since yesterday.  We smoothed out the same trails as earlier this week: part of Campground, Meadow, Upper UW, Phil's thru Van's.  We are hopeful to keep this up thru the weekend.  Constantly changing, spring conditions exist.  Be safe, have fun. We will work the same trails tomorrow. Good skiing, Randy

04/14 Thursday

Part of Campground, Meadow, Upper UW, and Phil's thru Van's were smoothed out today.  There is some good skiing yet to be had and there are also multiple thin areas.  Typical spring conditions.  Be safe and have fun. We plan on going up Friday morning to further smooth out the ski trails. Good skiing, Randy

04/13 Wednesday

We have recieved enough new snow to go back to work.  We rolled, then smoothed part of Campground, Meadow, Upper UW, Phil's, Gobi's, Turnpike, Moose, and Van's.  Conditions are: where there was bare ground Monday, there is now thin coverage.  The begining of Phil's has sparse coverage but, the rest of the trails are normal spring conditions.   We will go up again tomorrow and see what we can do to improve skiing and go from there. Good skiing, Randy

04/09 Saturday

We groomed Campground, Upper UW, and Phil's thru Lower Van's this morning.  It is obvious that mother nature is changing seasons.  At this point, grooming of the ski trails will not continue.   With the possibility of a real snow event next week, we will see what happens and go from there.  There remains a lot of "ifs" but, we may groom the ski trails for a short time depending... Good skiing, Randy

04/08 Friday

Campground, Meadow, Upper UW, and Phil's thru Lower Van's grooomed this morning.  There is some narrowing and bare spots on the ski trails that we groomed.  The rest of the trail system will not receive any further grooming due to multiple and large bare areas.  Constantly changeing spring conditions are occuring.  We will continue to groom/maintain the ski trails until you folks quit showing up or, it is too hard on the equipment.   Be safe and have fun,  Randy

04/05 Tuesday

A trace of new snow overnite but, not enough to open melted out trails.  Campground, Meadow, Upper UW and Phils thru Lower Vans groomed this morning.  Conditions are fair coverage with spring conditions. Be safe and have fun, Randy

04/04 Monday

Most ski trails groomed today.  We had more narrowing/bare spots emerge.  We are scheduled to have some winter weather tonight so, we'll see what things look like in the morning.  As of now, the conditions of Meadow, Upper UW, and Phil's thru Moose Loop are fair to good.  Van's and Ridge are fair, while the rest is poor to haveing multiple bare areas to term them unskiable. Be safe and have fun, Randy

04/03 Sunday

All ski trails groomed, except the Summit complex and Rollercoaster.  Lower UW, Blackjack, Ridge, and Alder all have thin/bare areas and are of marginal conditions.  The rest of the trails have good coverage with minor trail narrowing.  Constantly changeing spring conditions exist. Be safe and good skiing, Randy

04/02 Saturday

All ski trails groomed, except the Summit complex and Sprint.  Rollercoaster will no longer get grooming unless we  receive significant snow.  There continues to be narrowing of the ski trails, along with a few bare spots.  Constantly changeing, spring conditions exist.   Be safe and have fun, Randy

04/01 Friday

About 1" of new snow overnite.  Most ski trails groomed, excluding Summit complex.  The surface did not freeze hard overnite and it was snowing most of the time we groomed.  The trails groomed out nicely but, they will be a little soft.  Remember, constantly changeing spring conditions exist. Be safe and have a good ski, Randy
