Medicine Bow Nordic Association Grooming Report

About 2" of new snow this morning.  All ski trails rolled.  It was lightly snowing, off and on, most of the morning into early afternoon.   There is a forecast of snow for later today and tonight...  So while you're "ringing" in the New Year, why don't you perform a few dance steps to insure/increase the snowfall. No new snow to report but, we did have a little drifting due to the breeze.  The "B Loop" has been cleared and rolled multiple times.  All ski trails have now been rolled.  Some trail signage has been posted, as well as some directional signage.  Good skiing, Randy

Summit, and Minors Loop were cleared and rolled multiple times.  Most other ski trails rolled. Good skiing, Randy

1" to 2" of new snow.  Alder is now completely rolled.  Also, Lower Van's including Haunted Forest was rolled multiple times.  All other ski trails, Except the Summit group, were rolled at least once.  Conditions remain similar with good coverage but, a thin base. Good Skiing, Randy

2" to 3" of beautiful, new snow overnite.  All ski trail rolled multiple times except Lower Van's into Haunted Forest and the Summit Loop system.  Coverage is very good but, thin. Keep up the good work on the snow dance.  It's working! Good skiing, Randy

A trace of new snow overnite.  Lower UW, Rollercoaster and upper Van's rolled multiple times.  Campground, Meadow, Chyt's, Ridge, Sprint, Upper UW, Phils thru Moose were also rolled.  It was snowing HARD when I left early afternoon. Good skiing, Randy

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...  Finally, we got some snow!  I'm at 6" to 7" of new, gorgeous snow.  Meadow, Upper UW, Phils thru Moose, Ridge and Alder thru Chyt's Cut were all rolled multiple times this afternoon.  Coverage is good but, thin.  I will be up tomorrow and try to roll more ski trails. For those of you, who took time out from the holidays to do the snow dance, GREAT JOB! Good skiing, Randy

We're still waiting on mother nature to start our grooming, the snow cover is very thin with lots of grass and dirt showing. You can be sure we're as anxious as you are to get out on skis, so please do your best snow dance!
