Medicine Bow Nordic Association Grooming Report

Mighty firm surface this morning.  It never got soft today.  All ski trails groomed.  Most classic tracks were removed for the races Friday and Saturday.  Coverage remains good. High School State nordic races Friday and Saturday.  Trails and parking lot will be extremely busy both morning 'till early afternoon. Good skiing, Randy

All ski trails groomed.  Constantly changing spring conditions.  The base is holding up so far.  We've done some snow shoveling to try to prevent bare spots/areas and so far, so good.   Reminder:  Laramie Senior High School is hosting the Wyoming State Championships this Friday and Saturday mornings, These are the last races scheduled for this season. The base was rather firm this morning.  All ski trails groomed.  The warm weather is not doing us any favors as the snow was soft and sticky by mid-morning today.  There are still some classic tracks that are in fair to good condition.   Reminder:  Laramie High School is hosting state this year.  It will be held this coming Friday and Saturday. A dusting of new snow since yesterday.  All ski trails groomed.  Classic tracks set on Campground, Meadow, Phil's thru Summit.  Conditions are packed powder. Reminder of the ski race tomorrow morning as well as Sunday morning.  The University of Wyoming is hosting several teams.  Racing should conclude both days around midday to early afternoon.  Please respect the course and the participants. Happy Jack got about six inches of light fresh snow last night! All the trails were rolled today but because of the new snow they are going to be soft for a while.  The parking lot was also cleared this morning and looking good! Thanks for the excellent snow dances, they are really working! -Dan

All ski trails groomed.  Classic tracks set/reset on part of Meadow, Upper UW, Ridge, Blackjack and Alder.  The existing tracks on Campground thru the Summit complex are holding up quite well.  Due to the temperature and humidity, the trails set up very well. Reminder: U W Nordic team is hosting races both Saturday and Sunday mornings this coming weekend. Good skiing, Randy
